winter crows  / hunker /
carrion in dark’s cape / waits to nourish

sister other –
eider-downed and dreamy / not wanting bitterness —
winter crows devote craw  / stab / gulp

what comes

sister afraid of the dying / keep
balance /
above not-enough / above waste-heaps of plenty

sister / crow is alive

it floats / its languor not wasteful
/ its appetite not captive / to what tastes good

in white moon / caught caught
calls raucous / must
/ scrap or abundance /  eat

scrap or abundance
sister give
furious thanks / take
bodies to air
