time breaks open / rattles dry berries
outside rain turns to snow
works still goes on / men shoulder loads
one stares at nothing / doesn’t answer
could you take this to heart?
no one wants to wait here
here in awkward pining
imagine following me home
our singular meeting / sharp points and soft skin / helicopter blades above curved earth /green blush of twigs / colour whispering undercover
above?
mechanical noise / useless
business is done — by crow-light / too black for any city sky / a blackout landing
thud
time to look around / take what’s
waiting
what is there / waiting
can you take this to heart?
business is done –begun by ordinary / red breast / red leg/ bobbing / circular / song
time to look around / take what’s
waiting
what is there / waiting
can you take this heart?
