when I remember you / all possibilities nudge
warm enough / they wink / nodding toward the water
imagine I’m a sleeping seed
you’re my dream
no matter how ridiculous the crack I wake in
I start unfolding out and sinking in
you’ve seen larvae dance without noticeable tune
and bees slam into glass then hive off headlong in the right direction
that’s me when I remember you here
that’s me when I remember not now
something deep inside me waves flags
tiptoe tries to get you to see
all because I’m sure as bright green
you’re eager too
not worried / not sad
not wanting anything but a moment
abandoning every now for next
this moment / depending on nothing
certainly / certainty

I think this is a magnificent poem! I really like it so much, both for the sentiment and the expression. I really love : ‘Imagine I’m a sleeping seed…’ and the line beginning ‘and the bees slam into the glass then hive off …
This is my gut response after being touched after a first reading.

IThis is setting a new bar for love poetry.. The first four stanzas are just brilliant, , If I had to chose one line, I would chose larvae dancing without noticeable tune.
